Good day gamers,

I just wanted to send out a quick note that if you attended OctaCon this year, we appreciate you coming out on such a busy weekend and we hope you had a great time. We certainly did!

Bottom line?  OctaCon was a HUGE success!

Over 100 games played and 140 unique people attended!

Crokinole, David Miller’s games, Chess, Game Design Demos, Dark Tower, Play-to-Win families, kids, first time attendees, veteran gamers, brand new people to the hobby, Ginger upstairs with the welcome center, LIRetro Video Games, Chip Theory Games, Hitpoint TCG, D&D, and lots more!  

(Note:  Besides Crokinole, Guillotine was the most played game!  LOL)

OctaCon would also be nothing, if not for the help of our wonderful volunteer staff and Game Masters! I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.

So many attendees were smiling, laughing, learning, gaming, having new experiences, and making friends.

What could be better?
