Good day gamers,
- Went to a memorial service yesterday in Southampton for the mother of my good lifelong friend.
- I will be on Over Coffee this M, W, F at 0630 with Rich and Jon on LITabletop Twitch Channel.
- I am taking Balance of Nature. I’m not noticing much difference. Been doing it for two months. Anyone else have any results?
- Help a guy out and go to my Twitch Channel and hit ‘Follow’. Here. Once I get up to 50 followers, I can make a small amount of money on the channel. Thank you in advance.
Dominions 5: So, I’ve been messing around with Dominions 5 again and I’m looking to teach more people and play some bigger multiplayer games. Go ahead and check it out. The graphics aren’t great, but the strategy is immense. The interface is not great, but when your Dragon Pretender God uses their breath weapon it is highly satisfying. It’s one of those games that it is easy to play. You just make some moves and your armies fight. But to do well and to win, it takes a lot of analysis and good strategies. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Memorial Service: The mother of one of my grade and high school friends passed away and the service was out here on Long Island. Ginger and I went and I got a chance to say a few words. Due to the pandemic, it was hard to not shake hands or give a hug. It was great to see the family, but just not under the circumstances. I heard it was hard to find a place that would allow a gathering at a restaurant, but the place we went to had some outdoor seating and it was very nice. The salmon there was fantastic. Ginger and I prayed at our church service this morning for the family. It is never easy losing anyone of course, but losing a parent can be especially tough even without all the additional planning with the pandemic. I am so happy I got a chance to attend, though it looked like there was a chance, due to my job, that I couldn’t go. Blessings to their family for their loss.
Lambie Pie: Time to introduce another extended family member, Lambie Pie.
Lambie Pie joined the Walsh family in the mid-1990’s as a Therapy Lamb to be with Ginger’s Mom, who has since passed. Lambie has had a wealth of life experiences and employment. He was a back-up drummer for Led Zeppelin when their toured. He worked in a cardiology unit and studied pediatric psychology before he got hired by the Walsh family. Now, he is a permanent member of our household helping with the kids and keeping the balance. He came out on February 1st, 2014, and is dating Robert, a neighborhood lamb.
Thank you for reading another installment of Dave’s Semi-Daily Dispatch. Give yourself 100 XP and until we meet again across the internet, keep your lambs dry, your drum sets ready and your Dominions strong!
- Game Master Dave
Foxy Joan: “David Dear, Lambie’s personal choices for friendships are not subject matter for the internet. The sexual orientation for all species is a private matter.”
Lambie Pie: “Thanks Joan, but no worries. Dude, it’s uber cool. Later gators. Heading out.”
