Good day gamers,

  • I had someone called out to me today on the Postal Route, “We love Postal Workers! Thank you for all you do!” That was nice of that person. I want to say, “Thank you.”
  • I’m playing a cooperative Dominions 5 game that is exciting. I’m playing with Bill and Rich and they are not doing that well. I’m racing to try and win the game before one of them gets eliminated. Dominions 5 website is here.
  • Listened to a bunch of podcasts today: Critical Hit #1, Stuff Mom Never Told You (About the job of the First Lady.), Stuff You Should Know (About how much money do you really need to live.), The Geek Box Episode 13, The Spiel Episode 77.
  • Lightning just struck within one mile of our house. That was a bit shocking. (pun intended)
  • Over Coffe with Rich and Jon was good this morning.

EVE Online: So, many years ago, 2001-2005 time frame, I played a lot of EVE Online. I even had a corporation with about 50 members. I haven’t played much since, but my friend Steve is an avid fan. Apparently, Steve even played more than me in yesteryear. I have another friend, Nick, who I think was on the original ‘Goon Squad’ and might have even helped to take down the first Titan. I’m not sure about this. I have to ask him about it again. Anyhow, EVE Online is a persistent Mega-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) with only one server. Unlike most MMORPGs, when you sign in, you have to choose a server, but not with EVE. All players play together whenever you sign in. I joke, but if I had unlimited funds and no responsibilities, I would play EVE all day long. 🙂

Have you played EVE Online before? I’d love to hear more about your experiences. Let me know at Dave@GameMasterGames.com. I’ll cover more of my personal stories at some point.

Last night, I made a new character and flew around space a bit. If you have an account, let me know and we can friend each other.

Here is the website for you to check it out. EVE Online

Thank you for making it to the end of another of Game Master Dave’s Semi-Daily Dispatch. Give yourself 100 ISK and until we meet again across the galaxy, keep your clone insured, your pod ready and your corporation strong!

Foxy: “David Dear, shouldn’t you be reading to the Ginger instead of flying around in that thing?”

Lambie: “Dude, cool…I like the Stargates. The sound it makes reminds me of when I used to tune Jimmy Page’s guitars. Don’t forget to train in battleships.”
