Good day gamers,
So, what is the JoCo Cruise? Well, if you have never heard of it, you probably wouldn’t ever figure it out. It is a charter cruise named after Jonathan Coulton, who is a song writer and comedian. His website is here. He used to be a programmer and quit to pursue a music career. His music is filled with nerdy and pop culture references. If you are a PC or Console gamer, you may recognized one of his biggest hits, the song at the end of the game Portal.
Years later, he hooks up with comedy musicians, Paul & Storm, and they collaborate on this charter cruise where there is now music, special guests, karaoke, dance parties, theme days, comedy, authors, crafters, podcasters, video, arcade, and tabletop games. There are still all the stops you do on a regular cruise. Mash it all up together and you get the JoCo Cruise.
Here is a picture of a cannon at the fort in St. Croix. All it needs to do is pivot the left and it will hit our cruise ship.
More soon.
