Wow, wow, wow!!!
So many good things have happened in the last month and so much fun was had!
- First was LIRetro. Due to work, I was only there Sunday, but I was placed as a greeter at the door and I had so much fun!!! “Come on in!” “Welcome to LIRetro!” “VIP coming through!” “Wild Bill’s!” Oh boy….it was great! Then I helped out move TVs and do other general cleanup. Such nice vendors, guests, co-volunteers, lead staff, and of course all of you that attended! Don’t miss next year!!! https://liretro.com/
- Then I had a great night at Cosmic Comics Board Game Night. We played a Kickstarter game that Jessie brought. Arcana Rising. It was pretty cool. And if you are into Comic Books come check out the collection that Chuck has at Cosmic.
- Then it was to Legendary Realms Games in Lindenhurst. We held a board game night there and Ginger and I ended up playing some Roll for It, but Monday nights there is usually a Super Show tournament. They had a great crowd there. Ginger and I had some time, so even though I’ve been around the game and the designer, Steve Resk, many times, I didn’t know how to play. So…..I finally learned to play Super Show! - And then we have OctaCon 9 coming up on the 15th and 16th this October. It’s our 9th Anniversary of our FREE Gaming Convention at the Bethpage Library!
