Good day,
This is tough times.
We hope that all of you and your families are safe and well.
We have a great gaming community and it should not suffer.
Several of us have lost our jobs and have no income right now.
Several of us have mild colds right now and may not know what to do.
Several of us may be completely alone trying to stay positive with each passing day.
Even though we need to keep our distance until this passes us, we do not need to suffer alone.
While you are sheltering in place, unless you are an essential worker (then we praise you for your hard work and dedication to the cause), you can use the internet, letters, and the phone to stay connected with other people.
I’ve been streaming on Twitch, been playing multiplayer Hearts of Iron on Steam, been playing games with Ginger, and calling my Mom every day.
Ginger’s booked weddings have been postponed, but she is taking her daily prayers online onto her Twitch channel.
I’m considered an essential worker at the Post Office, so I’m luckily still working.
Check out my links below and check out my videos for some entertainment.
This is a great time for you to make your own YouTube Channel to post your videos or make a podcast on Anchor.fm. It’s free!
Get some friends together and play D&D on Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds.
Or join me and Rich on BoardGameArena.com playing Through the Ages.
If you ever wanted to learn Hearts of Iron, let me know. I’ll teach you. We need a USA player in our multiplayer game. 🙂
Rich Parla and I are on Over Coffee on the LITabletop Twitch Channel M/W/F at 0630. Come chat with us.
It’s also a good time to pick up that counted cross stitch you put down years ago.
If you have children at home, then bless you. You are doing your part just staying home with them. You are amazing. Keep up the good work.
For now, the library events are postponed, Long Island Tabletop is postponed, but we will be streaming games online on April 18, and our monthly game nights are postponed.
Postponed does not be gone.
It will all come back on the other side of this.
Stay safe.
Stay well.
Contact us if you need help.
We love you all.
Ginger and Dave
