Good day gamers,

Wow! What a great day at OctaCon, which is our FREE Board Gaming event at the Bethpage, NY library!

Here is a bunch of stuff in no particular order:

• Crokinole was a huge hit. Probably 15 first time players played with a sprinkling of other veterans joining in. Many games played! Much fun was had! Thanks to the Brooklyn Crokinole Club.
• Cornhole upstairs was a huge hit as well as the Giant Jenga.
• Thanks to Zach for bringing the Giant LOTS game! So many kids played with it, even if they weren’t playing the game.
• More than 60 people attended and over 60 games played!
• People were excited to get out and play a game as the pandemic is winding down.
• I got to see some people I haven’t seen in over two years.
• Crokinole, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Chip Theory Games, Onitama, Chaos, Azul, Climbers, Azul, Air Land & Sea, Venture Party, Le Boomb!, The Grizzled, Strike, Marvel United, Deadly Doodles, Terraforming Mars and lots more…
• SUNDAY Schedule!
• 11am Cloudspire, Crokinole and Warstriders all day, OPEN Gaming all day
• 12pm, D&D w/Chuck, Mariposas, Hero Kids RPG, Betrayal at House on the Hill
• 1pm, Splendor/Cities of Splendor, Pathfinder RPG
• 2pm, 7 Wonders, Hero Kids RPG, Burncycle
• 3pm, Twilight Inscription, Betrayal at House on the Hill
