Good day gamers,
Today was not the best day. The weather was dreary, there were lots of packages to deliver at work and I’m trying to do the right thing at work to get my fellow co-workers to wear masks and some are resistant. However, I had an awesome portabello burger with cheese, Ginger and I had a nice chat about worldly things going on and I’ll be playing some games at 10pm. I plan on visiting my Mom in NJ on Mother’s Day, but will be hanging out on porch chatting through the door. Thank you to all those essential workers working like crazy. We all couldn’t make it through this without you. Much respect.
Over Coffee: If you didn’t know this already, I’m a co-host on a Mon, Wed, Fri gaming talk show at 6:30am on LITabeltop’s Twitch Channel. The other co-host is Rich from Legendary Realms and LITabletop. It’s a 30 minute show and you can watch or listen while you get ready for work or watch it later on in the day. We generally try to talk about some gaming, but almost any topic is up for discussion and we love it when people chat with us or send us feedback or topics. Check it out sometime. We think you will enjoy it. We certainly enjoy doing it. NOTE: We also talk about upcoming events. Link here: LITabletop Twitch
New Post Master General: So, it looks like we are getting a new Post Master General at the USPS. The news is filled with comments that he is a big donor to President Trump’s campaigns. However, I’ve also heard that in some businesses that he has run in the past, he worked closely with the Post Office. I hope he understands some of the challenges we face. I guess we are in a wait and see mode. There is a possibility that this will lead the Post Office one step closer to privatization and that would most likely be bad for customer service. I’m sure I’ll have more to say about this soon.
Projects: I have so many projects I’m working on, all at the same time. There are house projects, streaming projects, work projects, convention projects, cleaning projects and more. Sometimes, it seems overwhelming, but I’ve found a unique technique to just keep plugging along and getting things done. I usually break each hour I’m home to 25 minutes cleaning and then 25 minutes projects. The last ten minutes of every hour I continue watching a video or playing a computer game. It’s like my mini-break every hour. This technique works well for me. What is your technique for staying focused or getting things done? I’d love to hear about it at Dave@GameMasterGames.com.
Thanks again for making it to the end of another Dave’s Semi-Daily Dispatch. Give yourself 100 XP. Until we meet again across the internet, keep your mice dry, your keyboards ready and your gaming communities strong!
