“Making friends and uniting communities one stained glass window made of colored dice at a time.”
Good day gamers,
Got a chance to teach Sagrada at the Long Island Doctor Who Convention this past weekend.
Sagrada is a dice drafting game where you place dice within a five x five grid and you must carefully choose your locations, because of restrictions on what can be placed where.
It’s a brain burner sometimes as you try to maximize the points or use some potential victory points to unlock ‘tools’ that will break the restrictions for that turn.
I don’t like to usually teach new players Sagrada. If I was going to teach some of the new ‘modern classics’ to people, I would rather choose to teach Splendor or Azul. However, I like Sagrada and new people do seem to enjoy the medium complexity.
I give it a seven ‘dice in the draft pool and not one of them I can use’. LOL
We would love to hear about your experiences with Sagrada, another board game, or any tabletop story you would like to share. Please fill this out this quick survey: My Story About Board Games.
See you soon!
