Good day gamers,

This week was really tough. I’m struggling with a decision to keep politics and news out of my Dave’s Semi-Daily Dispatch and I’ve decided that I will continue to do so. This is a blog about gaming, events and my life. However, I am frustrated, angry, disappointed and left with a feeling that I’m not doing enough to bring justice and peace to this world.

I want to do more. The question is, what will that be, what can I accomplish with my limited resources and will it make a difference?

My friends, family, business contacts and customers tell me that I have made a huge difference in their lives and that is great. Thank you for the accolades. So, in my little pond, I’m a big fish. But there is so much to do to help the world. People are in pain. People live in fear. People are sick and people are dying.

I’ve thought about making a non-profit, but that would require more business acumen, leaving my job and completely changing my life. I’m not sure I’m prepared to do that, but if I’m not prepared to make a difference, then what the heck am I doing?

Does anyone know of any local non-profits out there that I can contact? Maybe I can form a Facebook activation group? Should I make a different website to talk about politics and news? Want to start a discussion?
