Good day gamers,

As you all know, today is Veteran’s Day, a Federal holiday.

Today is the day we honor veterans and their families for their service to the country and their sacrifices for the freedoms we have.

Memorial Day is for remembering those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

I wish to thank my parents that let me enlist in the Army Reserves when I was 17 years of age.

I wish to thank my brother who is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force.

I wish to thank my uncle who is an Army veteran.

I wish to thank Robert, Devon, and Gio for their sacrifices as I went to the Regular Army in 2003.

I wish to thank my Mom for her phone calls on all the military holidays.

I wish to thank Ginger for her support of her veteran husband.

I wish to thank all my friends and work associates that are veterans.

I wish to thank my friends and those that reached out on Facebook for my service.

I served in the Reserve and National Guard from 1986-1994 in Field Artillery.

I served during the War on Terror in the Regular Army from 2003-2006 in Armor.

I went to my first American Legion event today in Seaford and saluted the flag, heard some speeches, and met two World War II veterans that are 99 years old as well as a Korean War vet as well as a bunch of Vietnam veterans. It was great to be there.

Take care all and let’s lift a toast to the end of war as today is remembering the end of World War I.
