“Making friends and uniting communities one flower planted at a time.”

Good day gamers,

  • Apparently the Evergreen ship in the Suez Canal has been released.
  • The Derek Chauvin trial started today.
  • I worked at the USPS/NALC Carrier Academy for the first time in more than a year.
  • Ginger and I played Paperback last night. Thanks Chris for lending it to us.
  • On Wednesday night, I hope to play Gettysburg: Badges of Courage with my friend Steve.

Yard Work: Ginger and I bought my Father-in-Law’s house. It has a huge backyard. Honestly, it’s been hard to maintain it. However, a friend of mine, several years ago put in garden boxes and they have been great, but they are all rotting away now. Ginger and I also recently went to a museum and arboretum here on Long Island and we saw a wild flower meadow. We loved the idea of making a wild flower garden in our backyard, so we are tearing down the boxes and going crazy! So, in the last week, I’ve planted sunflowers, blue hostas and wild flowers. I plan on planting a lot more. We are waiting patiently for them to pop up! Spring is here! Let’s celebrate. I’ll add more pictures when the sun, rain and soil have worked their magic.

Dominions 5: So, if you were watching the previous Dominions 5 series on my Twitch channel, well….that has ended. We lost. We are starting a new one with 7 Human players now and who knows how many AI players. We are doing this one a little different. We are each making a Pretender God and running our own nation. We have decided to do a Co-Op game until all AI units are destroyed or someone has won via thrones. You will be able to see the new series here on twitch.tv/gmgdave. I chose a new nation. Wish me luck! Don’t know what Dominions is? Check it out here.

Thank you for joining us for another Game Master Dave’s Semi-Daily Dispatch. Give yourself 100 XP for reading. And until we meet again across the internet, keep your arrows dry, your shovels ready and your sunflowers strong!

  • Game Master Dave

Foxy Joan, “David Dear, the sunflower seeds are not buried deep enough. The feather pests will eat your seedlings. They are so annoying. Please dirt them more tomorrow.”

Lamby Pie, “Dude, can you plant some carrots in the garden? I’m a gettin’ hungry! Thanks man.”

Snuggle Bunny, “Boo Boo, what is a hosta? Is that like the pasta Mama cooks on the funny hot spiral things? Love you, Boo Boo!”

Chester, “Chester.”
